I am currently living in the capital of the world, the District of Columbia, working as a freelancer and contractor with various interpreting and translator's agencies. Since the beginning of my career, I have made a commitment to social justice and inclusion. I have years of experience as a translator, interpreter and an advocate starting with my work at NYC Mayor's Office to ensure all types of accessibility. I specialize in giving clear interpretation on all disability related laws, removing all types of communication barriers, and do consultations on how to make buildings accessible through modifications and design solutions. As an expert on accessibility, I've moved through different areas from interpreting, consultating, accessible building designs, to accessible programming and system and service delivery entities. Both as a leader or participant on various projects, I work with partners to be on same page and then, we accomplish them together through coordination, collaboration and cooperation. The ability to thrive in such a dynamic city with talented, passionate colleagues creates a fun, exciting workplace, definitely the place to be. For me, I am always striving to bring 100% to the work that I do, and my goals at the end of my commitments are to build strong, long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with people, communities, agencies, and companies alike. I like getting people involved in the things I believe in.Outside of the office, you can find me shopping at local farmer's markets, rocking the ski slopes, or finding inspiration throughout the city. For higher learning and contributions to the community, I am a Landmarkee. Lastly, I dig great movies, discussions, travel, or playing with the nearest dog. Connect with me over Linkedin!
