As HR Director I was member of The Greenery Management Team, reporting to the CEO, and leading both HR & Communication, with a team of 13 professionals.I was leading several rounds of restructuring/downsizing and the culture & behavioral change during the Transformation of The Greenery.Furthermore I was member of the CAO committee of the GroentenFruitHuis: this committee negotiates, on behalf of the fruit & vegetable sector, with the unions about the collective labor agreement and pension related matters.

As the HRBP to the President & CEO Europe and EU Commercial Management Team member, I lead the people agenda within GGM EU (5.500 employees):• Organizational Design & Change Management during major Organizational Transformations such as reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions and divestments• Strengthen Leadership pipeline and increase Internal Succession through an integrated Talent Management approach• Manage all key HR processes for GGM in EUAll implementation & execution in close -matrix- cooperation with the Regional HR organization and local HR Directors

As the HR Director for the Teva Europe Headquarter in Amsterdam my main challenge & achievement was the optimization of HR Services for HQ employees: Design & implement HR Operating model for EU HQ, streamline & manage Hire-to-retire (H2R) service for the EU HQ and the transition of HR Shared Services for HQ to a regional Shared Service Center.

In this newly created position I had the opportunity to build numerous initiatives to support the EU People Agenda 'from scratch':• Build the EU Leadership Strategy and design & implement the Leadership Curriculum: Teva Foundations, various Leadership & Change Management modules, the “Teva Early Talents” program & the “Teva Europe Future Leadership” trainee program• Build & lead the EU Talent & Performance management processes• Build functional capabilities through the Teva Brand Academy (assessment based development)• Organizational design & HR support for the establishment of a Teva Joint Venture• Design and roll out the Global Teva Employee Survey & lead the annual EU action planning process since then• Coach Business Leaders on the development of European (top 100) Talents• Create & lead (virtually) the EU People Development Center of Excellence

This great assignment to design & implement the Global Organon Leadership Development Curriculum, based on the newly created Learning & Development strategy, came to a sudden end by the acquisition of Organon BioSciences by Schering-Plough. It provided however the great opportunity to participate & contribute to the ‘workstream’ “Cultural Integration” in the scope of this acquisition
