Taught Spanish at all levels from elementary to college level at a therapeutic boarding school. Served as advisor to the Spanish Honor Society. Participated in charity and fund-raising events for The Shoreline Food Pantries and Soup Kitchens, Mayan Families and The Jane Stern Dorado LIbrary in Dorado, Puerto Rico for relief from Hurricane Maria. Wrote for the school literary magazine as a staff writer.

Taught English at all levels from K-12. Served as Lead Teacher conducting staff meetings, workshops and participating in school wide functions. Created a student newsletter to share with parents. Created an assessment handbook for kindergarten based on the New School Model.

Taught all levels of Spanish. Served as translator for Hispanic parents during meetings with the school. Participated in school wide events. Acted in a school play, Annie as Mrs. Pugh. Attended the Leadership Conference for three summers from 2007 to 2010. Active in the union.
