Ellen is the founder of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Sunrise Venture, Inc. She is passionate about empowering youth to believe in their ideas and developing leaders who take action to make a change within their communities. Sunrise Venture develops high school student entrepreneurs by providing a 7-session online business curriculum, mentorship sessions, a 8-week program at the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana, and a final pitch competition to win consultation + cash prizes. It teaches skills like market research, financial literacy, public speaking, and crafting a business model canvas.
