During this placement I have had the opportunity to develop and deliver lessons on kindness, collaboration, and empathy, including collecting follow-up data that indicates an effective lesson. I have learned how to discuss schedule changes with students which has included problem solving current struggles to avoid the need for a change as well as adding and dropping courses in eSchool when changes were necessary. I have been able to be hands on with eSchool and feel that I am able to successfully navigate the system. One of my greatest accomplishments during this placement has been the rapport I have been able to build with students despite the short time frame of my position as well as having an in-depth grasp of the new CBG system being used to the degree that my lead counselor will ask for support from me when explaining it to students and families.
