I am currently doing my national service at the faculty of academic affairs (FAAR) at the kofi Annan International Peacekeeping training centre. I was once a student at the University of Ghana and did a combined major in Chinese and Political Science. I held various leadership positions asthe Vice President for Chinese Students Association of Ghana (CHISAG), University of Ghana for the 2020/2021 academic year and also the Deputy Committee Head(2019-2020) academic year.The most valuable lesson I have learned from Chinese has been the importance of knowing Chinese characters, understanding cultural differences to understand each other and the ability to express myself in Chinese. I also won the Chinese ambassadors award for brilliant students thrice in school and also participated in the Chinese bridge competition.I have also passed HSK 3 and 4 and got admission to Lanzhou University but due to COVID-19, I couldn't go and currently doing my national service. I have passion in helping my friends and people who have difficulty in learning Chinese and Political Science. Chinese has provided me with great insights for a future career, alongside Political Science.Upon graduation, I would like to become a Teaching Assistant in the Chinese department. I am also a volunteer at the Confutius Institute at the University of Ghana .
