I served on the Executive team at SmartyPants Vitamins, establishing a data-driven operating model, where democratized, governed, normalized data & insights stood at the center of all business decisions. Nurturing a data-driven culture, we drove relevant, repeatable, scalable, timely, actionable insights. While we led decision makers with insights such as ROAS, best dollar spent, cohort analysis, customer acquisition efficiencies, customer LTV, customer demographics, psychographic and personal behaviors, we were always looking for our edge, the alpha – a quest for creative insights yielding exceptional performance using machine learning. We sought incremental gains through creative and thoughtful experimentation to improve upon best in class, then leveraging the insights across digital and traditional channels as appropriate.

Computer Scientist

Ft. Meade, Md, Us

I am thrilled to have been a part of the development and testing of the pre-internet infrastructure. It had been decided that the best thing that could be done with the DARPANET/WAN (Wide Area Network) technology developed by the US govt was to turn it over to industry to let them productize it. I was a part of some of the final development and testing teams working with BBN to prepare the technology for prime time:- Development and testing of networking software that became backbone of the future internet infrastructure. - Improving IMPS (image processors) packet switching software - development of first network monitoring center at NSA- assisting with development and testing for the transition from the WAN using physical addressing, to modified logical addressing to finally using logical addressing- I also had a stint as a Certified Ethical Hacker, before the job had a name or was a known skillset. I was responsible for hacking a system developed by Harris Corp, prior to it being deployed into the Oval office. The system was hardened after I exposed it's vulnerabilities.
