Systems Administrator
CurrentTechnical interface between DWFritz and managed service providers for establishment, maintenance, and support of on-site and cloud information systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Act as escalation point for Service Desk and infrastructure issues, point-of-contact for confidential and sensitive support, and on-site technical lead for Active Directory, networking, and IT services and applications. Lead and collaborate with internal and external partners on IT projects ranging in size and scope with varying deadlines and priorities depending on business needs.Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance by helping develop, implement, and monitor information systems policies and procedures.Administer and oversee aspects of Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, backup, and other information systems applications and devices.Manage software licensing, certificates, domain registrations, and IT expenses.Work with system and data owners to establish requirements, specifications, and configurations for end-user devices, operating systems, and software. Research, test, and evaluate new technology, applications, and systems both internally and with external partners. Use research skills to find solutions to complex Service Desk issues and requests, and communicate technical subject matter clearly and concisely across the organization. Provide mentoring, cross-training, and skill development to team members by sharing knowledge and experience.
