About Ellen Gray
I currently work at the Essential Services Commission (ESC) as an Investigator in the energy enforcement team.In 2023, I participated in the Victorian Government’s graduate program. My home role was at the ESC working as part of the Energy Division’s enforcement team. My second rotation was at the Department of Education’s Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) where I worked in the Priorities Unit. And my third and final rotation was at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, where I supported the Office of the Executive Director for People and Culture. At the beginning of 2024, I went on a six month secondment to the VSBA, working as a Policy Officer.At the beginning of 2022, I completed my PhD at Deakin University. My research dissertation was about the Australian government’s policy towards the 1956 Hungarian Revolution at the United Nations.
