As a Product Marketing Intern, my primary focus was creating and re-creating product pages for the company. This entailed writing descriptive content and meshing that content with current SEO trends to creative effective pages. As a part of my capstone at MSUM, our class was involved in the Annual National Student Advertising Competition. I was honored to be chosen as Creative Director for our school's team. Our team spent the Fall semester researching the client and then Spring semester developing and reporting on a campaign. We presented this campaign in St. Cloud, MN in early April, winning 3rd Place overall regionally. We also took home awards for Best Digital Strategy, Best Male Speaker, and Best Female Speaker.My role as Creative Director for the campaign meant spending a lot of late nights on campus overseeing the design of materials, the copywriting of materials, the creation of our campaign book, the creation of our campaign presentation, and more. Essentially my job was to make sure everyone was creating cohesive pieces that we could be proud to present to the client and that all of our pieces tied in with our theme and strategy statement.
