As the Executive Director for the first Catholic community foundation in Vermont, responsible for establishing and growing the Foundation from zero to $23 million and 110+ funds. Administer annual distributions to beneficiaries, oversee all investments and manage board of directors. Lead fundraising and communications for the statewide Diocese of Burlington, including annual appeal and capital campaign; editor of award-winning magazine, online news and website; and all public and media relations. Oversee budget and staff for several departments.

As a senior leader for largest visiting nurse organization in Vermont, led all fundraising activities and community relations, including annual appeal, major donor cultivation, annual report, two large fundraising events, and public and community relations. As President/CEO of the Fanny Allen Foundation sponsored by Covenant Health, responsible for the grant allocation process to nonprofit organizations in Vermont that serve the most vulnerable people. Consulted with Covenant Health sponsored health care organizations across New England to develop strategic fundraising plans and secured grants, including capital campaigns, telehealth initiatives and new health care outreach programs.

As a fundraising consultant for a statewide professional association of public school principals and schools, developed and implemented a strategic fundraising and communication plan, new website and grant reporting system. Secured new foundation grants and corporate sponsorships.

As leader of development for the largest provider for the homeless in Vermont, developed a strategic fundraising plan and directed all fundraising, communication and donor cultivation efforts. Raised annual budget and developed and secured funding for new programming, including federal grant for veteran's housing and homelessness prevention efforts.

As a development consultant for a leading international school for the blind, secured federal and corporate ogrants, including the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) Rehabilitation Education and Training Grant, resulting in a U.S. DOE Award for Excellence in Rehabilitation Education and Training.

As an administrator for a major city public school system, developed new outreach initiatives for disadvantaged youth in 600 Chicago public schools and managed the grant application process, securing federal and state grants for educational programs.

Directed all aspects of a summer professional internship program for high-achieving high school students from low-income families. Managed the recruitment and selection of 150 high school interns and facilitated their placement in summer internships at legal and financial firms in Chicago.

Selected for the Chicago Public Schools “Teach Chicago” program to teach high school English in a teacher shortage area, while receiving a Masters in Education. Head Coach, Boys and Girls Track.
