I have never been one to follow the crowd, in fact some would call me a ‘rebel’ but I have never liked being told ‘this is the way we do things’ because I often think there are better ways, different ways or even cheaper ways of getting the same result.What really makes me tick is interaction with people, I would go as far as to say I am a people person who works closely with others to enable them to succeed.What I love is problem solving and finding creative content solutions that really get to the route of the problem quickly. I am at my very best leading a team and working together to deliver the vision and in turn strategic growth and connect brands to their customers in ways they will never have thought of. Brands who have used my content thinking have been M&S, House of Fraser, John Lewis, DFS, Hope Fashion, White Stuff, B&Q, Dixons/Currys and Boden amongst others.I also love shopping and in a retail world that is suffering huge trauma, I want to help find better ways of doing things. Customers really interest me and the way businesses fail, time and time again to engage with them properly is a passion.I am a ‘creative’ turned successful business owner who isn’t a prima donna and is actually quite ‘nice’ – and nice these days is underrated.

CurrentWhat if we could create an agency that worked differently, removed the overheads but provided a global network of talented creatives from all over the world?So we did it!Since the beginning of 2020 and far before any of this global pandemic business we decided to work differently, set up a brand new Axon agency that worked for our clients (and us) and most importantly wasn’t constrained by the limits of space or even timezones. So today we remain successful as a virtual ‘pop up agency’ still reliable, still dependable but working entirely differently. Still bringing together talented teams of creatives from all over the world and in some instances still using the established faces you know and trust.Our approach is friendly and collaborative, we do a lot of listening and talking to get the right solution. We don’t create lengthy ‘decks’ and we don’t create large bills. We tend not to pitch as that costs us a fortune. What we do is get to the heart of your brand quickly and help you solve your creative challenges with ever decreasing budgets.

Head Of Design And Creative
For 5 years I was Head of the design and creative teams at The White Company, responsible for developing, guarding and maintaining the brand image of this highly successful multi-channel retailer. I worked closely with Chrissie Rucker understanding her vision for the brand and making sure the teams implemented and brought to life that vision. The team consisted of graphic designers designing and illustrating packaging, textiles, point of sale, visual merchandising, marketing materials and PR brochures. We also planned, designed, photographed and printed an intensive schedule of mail order catalogues and led the way during the early years of exciting retail growth. It is a time in my career that I am very proud of and gave me an invaluable insight into the demands of a busy retail environment managing enormous growth and success. I worked closely with Chrissie Rucker the Owner/Founder of The White Company throughout.
