Oversees the development, implementation, operation, and daily management of chronic disease prevention and management programming and staff. • Assist with planning and implementation of the Move and Improve program for the Worksite Wellness team, increased participation by 50% through use of incentives. • Research and evaluate options for accepting SNAP and EBT at farmers markets.• Research breastfeeding practices.• Communicate with ME CDC staff on behalf of the worksite wellness team.• Develop and administer survey for the worksite wellness team.• Observe a DOE school review for Mt. Blue School District.• Collect and record registrations for Maine Nutrition Council Conference. • Research and create educational materials to present and distribute to ME CDC staff regarding, blood pressure, cholesterol, nutrition, and cervical cancer.

Organize the youth soccer program for the river valley area. Coach ages 4-12

• Assisted the School Health Coordinator with the nutrition program at Cascade Brook School.• Supervised a small group of students involved in the Now You’re Cooking Club at Mount Blue Middle School.• Prepared visuals and materials for the Cooking Matters classes and cooking club.• Shared information about nutrition activities with practicum class at UMF.
