I am a journalist currently based in Brazil. I have covered science, environment, human rights, mental health and politics since 2007 and, as a freelance, I report from Latin America for FairPlanet since 2019, focusing mainly on politics, human rights and the environment - besides a weekly column and several stories, I have also been editor and author of the dossier Fisheries: Latin America, published in 2022. I have also contributed to BBC Future and dpa international and I was part of the 2021 Solution Journalism Mentorship Program. Additionally, since 2014 I serve as editor for a local Brazilian magazine (Contato), which covers psychology, mental health, human rights and public policies.
