The purpose of the bachelor's thesis was to develop a method that concretizes the empathy phase in Design Thinking using Design science. To demonstrate the method, a collaboration was initiated with the company Bruce. The method was used to identify user needs of Bruce existing and future members as a basis for designing new membership models. The demonstation resulted in a summary of user needs that could be used to develop a first stage prototype of a new membership model for Bruce.
