I am an enthusiastic, goal-oriented individual with a high-energy level, honed communications skills and meticulous attention to detail. I have a passion for advertising, PR and marketing, with a career goal of working for a company and helping it succeed through innovative marketing strategies and technologies.I studied at the Hubbard School of Journalism at the University of Minnesota, with a degree in Strategic Communications: Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Spanish Studies. I have acquired an enthusiasm for research, creative problem-solving, and marketing strategy development through my college major, extracurricular activities, internship and job experiences. I gained significant marketing experience as a Marketing and Registration Intern with Twin Cities In Motion, which hosts seven annual running events, including the TC Marathon Weekend, the largest sporting event in the Upper Midwest. At this company, I worked closely with the marketing department on managing the website, developing social media strategies, and planning marketing events. I also honed my research and data-analysis skills with the registration department, where I assisted with recording data on registration and demographics, which were used to advise marketing and operational strategies.Additionally, I have experience working in customer service at two restaurants, working as a camp counselor, and being a legal assistant at a law firm.
