Memoria Press publishes a classical Christian education curriculum for homeschooling families and private schools. I have edited and proofread projects following several stylebooks: AP, APA, Chicago and MLA.

I edited copywriting aimed at convincing prospective students to enroll in the online degree programs of colleges and universities. This included inbound content marketing, social media, pay-per-click advertising and other marketing collateral for client institutions. In addition, I proofread Learning House's research reports.

I ghostwrote the inspirational life stories of people across the country, which were published in books for churches. I wrote stories published in 17 books.

I conveyed valuable information to members through multiple communication avenues. Nearly 4,000 physicians, residents and University of Louisville medical students are members of GLMS.-Worked with Editor Mary G. Barry, MD, and the Editorial Board to edit and proofread articles submitted for publication in the monthly journal, Louisville Medicine. Wrote about 45 articles, including the GLMS Annual Report each May.-Wrote all copy for the monthly newsletter, GLMS News.-Wrote all copy for Vital Signs, a publication for patients of GLMS physicians. Topics included: migraines, child abuse prevention, pain treatment and prescription drug abuse, vaccines, eye diseases, osteoporosis, heart disease, obesity, diabetes and swine flu.-Worked with Louisville Magazine on content for its annual special issue featuring a physician directory.-Wrote and distributed news releases.-Posted social media content on Facebook, Flickr, LinkedIn and Twitter.-Updated content on GLMS website.-Sent blast emails and faxes to GLMS members and practice managers.

I supported the marketing and advancement team's efforts to raise money and recruit foster parents as ways to bring healing and hope to abused and neglected Kentucky children.-Ghostwrote columns and blog content for Sunrise's president. -Wrote and distributed news releases and public service announcements.-Prepared mailings for fundraising efforts and special events.-Performed data entry.-Served as backup receptionist.

As night supervisor, I provided the newspapers and broadcasters of upstate New York with timely and accurate news, business and sports stories by editing the copy of AP writers and freelance reporters. I also wrote arts, fitness and travel stories for transmission to newspapers nationwide.

I contributed to the AP's breaking news coverage in Kentucky and served as the lead reporter on sexual abuse lawsuits involving Catholic priests and nuns, the murder of a Western Kentucky University student and the fatal shooting of a black teenager by a white undercover police officer. I helped cover the 2004 Kentucky Derby, won by Smarty Jones, and covered the Kentucky State Fair. In total, I had more than 50 stories with my byline filed to the wire. I also edited the Kentucky broadcast wire.

The Associated Press selected me as one of 22 summer interns nationwide. I had nearly 20 stories with my byline filed to the wire. I also edited the Pennsylvania broadcast wire.

I reported and wrote more than 30 stories, including eight that ran on the newspaper's front page.

I reported and wrote 50 stories for the daily newspaper in my hometown.
