Ellen is a talented interior designer who has created beautiful interiors in residential and business settings for many years. She is adept at room layout and function, color palette selection, smaller scale remodels and other curated design essentials that turn houses into homes. She is a member of ASID.Additionally, Ellen is an experienced executive leader and has guided Human Resources for corporate and non-profit organizations. She has performed in executive management and consultative roles in industries including banking, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. She has specialized experience in management consulting, boards of directors, business development, executive coaching, employee/organizational development, transition assistance, strategic alignment, mergers/acquisitions, interim HR leadership, employee relations, assessment, HR Audit, and recruitment/retained C-suite search. Ellen has a B.S. degree in Psychology and a B. S. degree in Sociology from Virginia Tech, graduate studies in Ed. Psychology and Guidance at University of Tennessee. She is a three term member of Virginia Tech Alumni Association Board of Directors (international) serving on Executive, Nominating, and Strategic Planning committees. She currently serves on the VT Student Affairs Alumni Advisory Board.
