As an association professional, I lean hard into my love of history to lead the organizations I work with towards their vision. By understanding where these organizations have been, I can ask the questions needed to get them to where they want to go. I find a trickle of warmth spreading when a solution goes from ideation to execution for an organization, especially when it brings them closer to their ultimate vision. I take deep pride in my talent of building meaningful rapport with people. People are complicated and I understand giving a little grace can go a long way. Taking the time to understand and build that relationship for me only makes the work stronger.
