I designed the training program for the implementation of surveillance control in the Namibian airspace but also worked with simulator exercise production and was an instructor in the actual training of local controllers. The project was very successful and in December 2011 made Namibia the first nation in the world with nationwide WAM surveillance control.From December 2012, I moved to the Headquarters of the Namibia Directorate of Civil Aviation, where I was tasked with the preparations for an ANS oversight function within DCA.

The TMA was also used by the Armed Forces for paratrooper training and for ammunition and weapon training, research and development.Air Force Wing 7 with two fighter squadrons AJ 37 SAAB Viggen and the Air Force Transport squadron with C130 Hercules; from January 1984 until July 1984.Air Force Wing 5, the Swedish Air Force Flying school; prop and jet training, as well as Sweden's Airline Pilots Academy with single and twin props. Ljungbyhed with four parallel runways is one of the world's oldest, still active, airports and Sweden's busiest airport ever. SSR was introduced in the tower during this period. I was tasked with staff planning and the production of the monthly roster. I was also assigned with the task of internal safety and quality audits. I was here from May 1985 until July 1998. Air Force Wing 10; a very complex military/civil airport with two runways; serving airliners, biz-jets, fighters and mil jet-trainers. I was here from August 1998 - May 2000.
