For two summers, I have been an assistant coach for the Indian Hill Wahoos Swim Team. Coaching ages 4-18, I learned a lot about effective communication and problem solving. Having been a high-level swimmer my entire life, I know the hard work and determination necessary for a successful season.

As an employee, I learned not only how to work the window and machines at an ice cream shop, but also about all the complexities that go on behind the scenes. I gained insight into how the business actually runs. Additionally, I learned how to navigate inter-employee conflicts smoothly.

My robotics team, The Brookline Bots, officially started the Brookline Robotics Initiative in the fall of 2019. In the summer of 2021, I pioneered a robotics summer camp for kids ages 8-14. We partnered with Brookline Adult Education to make it more widely accessible. For 4 1-week sessions, we had approximately 90 kids sign up and participate. In 2022 and 2023, we ran the camp again and enrolled more students!
