With a Bachelor of Science in Conservation & Resource Studies from UC Berkeley and a minor in Geospatial Information Science (GIS) & Technology, I am deeply committed to advancing environmental justice and supporting community-led conservation efforts. My academic journey – focused on environmental justice, marine conservation, and political movement organizing – has been enriched by hands-on experiences in both research and grassroots activism.Through my work as a researcher, I have explored social resistance to hydropower development and the importance of co-producing conservation knowledge across diverse systems. As Director of Curriculum at Sustainable & Just Future, I have honed my skills in collaborative program development, creating impactful educational initiatives that bridge the gap between theory and practice.I am passionate about fostering cultural change toward a kincentric model of social and ecological relations, where humans and nature are deeply interconnected. My goal is to contribute to efforts that champion sustainable and just futures for all communities, grounded in equitable solutions to the climate crisis.
