I am responsible for the coordination of corporate and private events, from individuals to full venue use.

At Teamsport, I was responsible for the smooth running of the customer experience at the track, whether they were there just for fun, for improving their laptimes or were attending an event such as a birthday party, stag do, corporate or member event. I would host up to five groups at any one time, depending on the event being held. This role involved organisation, time keeping and customer service skills.

A summer internship at one of Britain's finest Historic Houses. My internship was spent assisting the Events and Marketing Manager in the planning of the House's annual events. I mainly worked on two events - the Harvest Fair, held at the end of September and the Halloween Event. My duties included sourcing external ways to market the events, sourcing potential stall holders, creating exhibitor packs for confirmed stall holders, creating an educational trail based on British Bats, Owls and Halloween rituals, helping to create decorations for Halloween that weren't "American" looking.

My positions allowed me the flexibility of working across the largest department of this hotel, where I was cross trained for Bar, Restaurant, Room Service, Conferences and Events services, as well as leading the team with my Team Leader position, which I held from April 2013. This role required high levels of customer service, communication, time keeping, team work and sales skills, as well as being able to help the training of my team members. Dependent on the shift, I could be responsible for 300 guests enjoying a Sunday breakfast, or just 10 couples dining in the Restaurant.
