-Analyzing individual students’ academic support needs as they prepare for standardized tests, such as the SAT and ACT;-Designing and implementing individualized test preparation plans and strategies to meet students’ individual score goals and educational needs;-Assessing progress and continued areas for growth through practice tests, supplemental exercises, and targeted practice activities, re-adjusting the supplemental test preparation plan accordingly to meet students’ needs.

Writing and editing thoroughly-researched, Common Core-aligned lesson plans on prominent literary works to support teachers’ research and unit planning for teaching these works in their classrooms. Lesson plans include all background, content knowledge, discussion questions, and activities needed to help even beginning teachers’ prepare comprehensive and engaging lessons for their students.

-Assessing the educational needs of individual students based on past academic performance, assessment tasks, and discussion with parents, teachers, and school learning specialists;-Designing and implementing individualized, supplemental curricula for each student to meet their academic and grade goals, as well as supporting their overall learning development across subjects;-Meeting and consistently communicating with parents, teachers, and school learning specialists to provide feedback, assess students’ progress and changing academic needs, and re-adjust the supplemental curriculum as needed to support students’ progress.

Co-led the Bronx Writing Academy’s academically-intensive extended learning time (ELT) program: instructional coaching, project management, lesson and unit planning, academic intervention strategy development, behavior management, program logistics, teacher professional development.

Worked on a 3-person team to develop and implement the first phase of a project from-scratch to help subsistence farmers in rural Tanzanian villages better access the Tanzanian market network, including: -Developing a price database and website for Kariakoo market (the largest market in Tanzania), -Designing, implementing, and leading an 7-session market access training series for farmers in collaboration with other 2Seeds project teams in rural Tanzanian villages, -Testing several crop price communications systems to help farmers learn about the market system, and-Developing a series of conferences to help NGOs, government organizations, and businesses better collaborate on their projects and create catalytic partnerships.

Co-taught a class of 29 under-privileged youth, developing their basic reading, mathematical, and social skills based to the high standards specified for the Uncommon Schools Charter Network, helping our students to make an average of 1.6 years of academic growth in reading and math during the school year.

-Worked on a 3-person team on the 9-college faith-based recruitment team and on the DC regional outreach team portfolios, increasing application numbers 130% and 200% to the previous year, respectively.-Provided support for the recruitment and outreach efforts of the Emerging Markets Team, broadening recruitment efforts to faith-based schools, a wide variety of national organizations, and college graduates and professionals throughout the country.
