I am a creative and motivated Psychology of Music masters student with a strong academic record. I find Social Music Psychology especially interesting as there are numerous practical benefits to the research and I am looking to pursue a career in this field. I have experience of research teams, research methods, and ethics, having carried out numerous studies for my undergraduate degree, covering various methods. Further, I am working as a research assistant for a consultancy within the Department of Music and I am currently coding a research paper into creative ageing and the technology used for dementia patients; gaining collaborative, adaptability and time management skills. Additional experience of arts organisations stem from my work as a Concerts Assistant and Performance Venue worker at University, where I interact with diverse audiences, allowing me to develop interpersonal skills. I have experience working with both young children and teenagers, having taught at a dance school for two years and worked on a youth summer scheme for four years.
