Check out more at CocoaPress.com!Here are some of my main roles at Cocoa Press:• Transformed Cocoa Press, a 3D printer that prints chocolate, from my hobby into a startup• Built and managed a team of four, working to identify and implement potential business models• Developed the Cocoa Press printer by iterating early concepts in order to create a manufacturable, consumer-ready product• Used master modeling technique in SolidWorks to design assemblies to be manufactured using sheet metal, CNC machining, and 3D printing• Designed a wire harness, integrated electrical components, and designed a PCB to filter signals• Worked with domestic and foreign supply chains to source components for the printer• Filed for a patent on innovative aspects of design which include methods of precisely heating food, extruding food, sensing when it has runout, and the use of a cooled build chamber

• Founded a rapid response organization for the COVID-19 pandemic which donated 90,000 face shields to frontline medical workers in 34 states within 10 weeks• Collaborated on designs for both 3D printed and injection molded face shields• Managed operations which included securing key manufacturing partnerships, empowering volunteers, and streamlining packing, shipping, and pickups

• Assisted Penn research labs by preparing files and printing parts using industrial 3D printers• Operated and performed maintenance on a Fortus 450mc, Projet 6000, and Objet 30• Worked with technician to create protocols to increase reliability and quality of finished parts
