Working for an independent local public house, I serve food and drink, take orders and payments and assist customers as required.

I completed a five-week work experience placement working with an international recruitment agency. During my time here I supported the Talent Acquisition Team with daily recruitment needs, dealing with candidates and sourcing on job boards. I also had a chance to work with the Marketing, Finance and Compliance team and get a deeper understand of the areas they work in.

During my time at Hillier Garden Centre, I was working on the till, answering the phone, cashing up the till, completing tasks around the store. When the café was busy, I would help by taking orders, making drinks and clearing tables.
