During my time at Varnum I planned hundreds of events ranging from educational seminars, to 400-person social gatherings, to a large three-day attorney retreat for over 100 people. I oversaw all elements of these events from initial concept through execution. In addition to event planning I also wrote and distributed press releases promoting attorney and law firm accomplishments and was responsible for the strategy and daily management of the firm’s social media accounts. I also managed integrated marketing campaigns promoting office openings and new practice areas.

-Demonstrated the ability to successfully manage multiple strategic projects while running day-to-day operations.-Developed and executed all social media marketing including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.-Created content and project managed the monthly newsletter with ConstantContact.-Generated and managed web content for Workspring.com using Expression Engine.-Maintained a dashboard outlining all marketing activities and their impact on customer usage patterns, revenue, website traffic, and social media.-Created and managed an editorial calendar to keep track of all internal and external activities related to Workspring, Steelcase, and the meeting and events industry.

-Implemented the social media marketing strategy and performed strategic daily updates for a 654 Croswell (coworking facility).-Contributed to a cross-disciplinary product development team as the assistant marketing lead to the successful product launch of a Turnstone (subsidiarity of Steelcase Inc.) desk product.-Coordinated and facilitated small business focus group sessions; synthesized focus group data and field observation insights to produce a tangible deliverable to a cross-disciplinary project team.-Conducted interviews with various small businesses and designers to help gain a better understanding of space and furniture needs within a small business.-Planned and implemented over 10 events targeted at specific demographics in order to attract new members to 654 Croswell (coworking facility)

-Contributed to multiple product launches by conducting competitive analyses. -Analyzed and formatted sales data used to make marketing decisions affecting the entire company.-Used SAP on a daily basis to run sales reports and input internal product orders to support an organization of over 40 people.-Facilitated a product photo shoot involving dozens of set changes over a period of two weeks.
