In my role as a Graphic Design Assistant within the Division of Student Affairs at Binghamton University, I was tasked with creating various promotional materials, including flyers, posters, and digital signage, utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite. Collaborating closely with 8-10 campus services each semester, I guided projects from initial design brief to final product, ensuring that clients' needs and preferences are met with precision and satisfaction. Additionally, I worked alongside four other coworkers, engaging in brainstorming sessions and providing constructive feedback to enhance our design capabilities and deliver optimal outcomes for our clients.

As the SA Ink Manager, I oversaw a team of 10 clerks within a student-run print operation. This entailed conducting interviews, managing hiring procedures, providing staff training, and coordinating schedules. I streamlined workflow processes to optimize efficiency, handled order processing for students and campus organizations, managed cash flow, and ensured excellent customer service. I organized orders, managed ticketing sales and deposits, and promptly addressed any issues that arose, and was constantly learning and adapting to expand my knowledge and meet evolving demands. Given the unexpected employee changes within and outside the office, I worked diligently to establish a system of organization and accessible knowledge to enhance the quality of output for the years following my graduation.

In my role as Publicity/Layout chair, I was responsible for crafting social media content, promotional videos, and diverse design assets to effectively showcase and promote events, photoshoots, and opportunities, including a magazine publication. Collaborating closely with cultural organizations and clubs, I, along with RENA, strived to ensure inclusivity and accurate representation of their cultures in our initiatives. Additionally, I worked hand in hand with fellow executive board members to streamline the planning process for our annual fashion show, coordinating dates, themes, ticketing, promotional materials, and logistical details to ensure smooth organization and execution.

I designed the 2023 Yearbook for the Newcomer Youth Summer Academy, overseeing the cover, layout, and artwork centered around a designated theme, providing campers with a cherished keepsake of their summer experiences. Collaborating closely with 16 other lead staff members, I guided the design process from initial sketches and contact sheets through several revisions to achieve a final product that fully embodied the client’s mission. Utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite, we crafted a yearbook that resonated with the essence of the summer program. Additionally, I developed efficient organizational methods by consolidating all records—including attendance, photo and name release waivers, and preferred names and pronouns—into a single Excel spreadsheet, ensuring the final product was both accurate and inclusive.
