This position was a casual position over the majority of my High School and University years. Within the Calamvale Store, I fulfilled the role primarily as a Shift Runner, however also worked as an In-Store Worker, and Delivery Driver when required. It taught me mostly about the importance of fast and efficient working, whilst also providing me with adequate knowledge in the preparation, creation, and serving of food.Due to this position over several years, I have excellent communication skills, which allow me not only to handle customer complaints exceptionally well, but provide customers with positive outcomes and the satisfaction they desire from the resolved issues.As well as this, the Shift Runner position gave me a trusted position to run the store primarily alone, as well as a trusted position around the nightly money, and reconciling of sales and data.On a weekly basis, I also have been trusted to deliver multiple stores from around the areas paperwork, which were taken to Domino’s head office in Hamilton.

It also taught me about the importance of confidentiality and helped me to build many office and reception skills such as:- Appointment booking (for the company as well as for external companies e.g. taxis, translators, podiatry, dieticians, medication).- Answering phone calls.- Filing of items.- Assigning correspondence.- Sending and redirecting mail.- Looking after and dispatching pathology.- Tidying and reorganising waiting rooms and the doctors rooms.- Individual and team working.All of these skills were gained in a fast pace and demanding workplace, allowing me to learn furthermore about efficiency within work environments.
