DECA is a business and marketing organization/club for High School students with nearly 225,000 members worldwide. North Carolina DECA has roughly 8000 members and is a division of DECA inc. I was elected to serve as the NC DECA Triad Region VP (1 year) in 2020. The election process consisted of 4 parts, each worth 25% of the final score. I was required to submit an application and resume, participate in an interview conducted by chapter officers from various schools, take a 50 question exam, and earn votes from chapter delegates. I was one of six elected officers on the NC DECA State Action Team 77.Job Responsibilities: - Organizing NC DECA events and workshops- Coordinating state-wide community service and member recruitment initiatives- Conducting chapter visits to schools in my region, which consisted of 24 counties, to communicate initiatives and grow member involvement- Attending state-level and national conference calls

I coached children ages 3-8, and assisted with daily practices, swim meets, meet set-up and break-down, and team events.
