I have built the impossible, I can make lighting in my driveway at the push of a button, 6 million volts worth, 14 feet of amazing. I decided one morning that I needed to build a tesla coil, why? Because it’s amazing and seemingly impossible! I had no idea what I was doing, and that was okay, with time and lots of work I built each piece by hand, and in a few months I had made the impossible, possible. IT is a lot like this in my experience, there is always that challenge that can look too big, or too hard, and that fear can hold back progress. I love to see the impossible and make it possible. Challenge does not scare me, it drives me. I have been in IT for over 19 years now, working my way up from data entry and help desk to running an entire department, everything from project planning, budgeting, design, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, training, documenting, and managing all aspects of business from an IT perspective. This includes being solely responsible for over 9 site locations, and working internationally with teams in Europe, China, Mexico, and Australia. In my first 2 years at Chervon I was able to cut the budget by over 38% while increasing our internal SLA delivery to the business by 30%. By the end of my 3rd year the entire environment had been transformed into to a virtual, high availability N+1 infrastructure, while increasing security, and driving efficiency.IT of today is about being flexible, innovative and thinking outside of the box to accomplish the goals of the company. Challenge needs to be looked at with excitement and determination, and that is exactly what I bring.
