Hello, I'm Ellie! I am a Marketing Operations Manager with a background in Project Management, Marketing, and Operations. I've recently moved from California to New York City with my dachshund, and now we live close to Central Park where we love to walk and go to his dachshund play groups #dogmom. I’m Sri Lankan on my mom’s side, and my dad’s side is Filipino, so we definitely have the best food on holidays! I began my career with Peloton when it was a start-up company. While working at the studio, I would often have to explain to my friends what Peloton was, and now it's amazing to see how it's grown into a household name. I started in sales while going to university in New York and was able to transfer over to a CA showroom once I moved back home. My manager was one of the best I've ever had, and since it was and is such a close company, I was given so many opportunities to grow. We were able to craft a career path to get me where I wanted to be, and ultimately landed my dream role as a project manager. Being with the company through such a large time of expansion, I learned so many invaluable lessons in terms of growth, community management, and client services. After six great years with Peloton, I left mid-2021 to take a position with Fast which allowed me to move back to New York City with my dog! After Fast's closure, I had the amazing opportunity to join Balto, a customer service AI software that shows agents the best things to say, automatically scores 100% of calls, and alerts managers for coaching moments in real-time as a Marketing Operations Manager. I would say that I'm definitely goal orientated with a history of hitting performance metrics, though I also have extensive experience in project management and marketing. With various other skills such as Photoshop, Logic Pro, and Lightroom, I love positions that allow me some creative freedom in terms of marketing and design. I would say that digital art is one of my favorite past times, and I would love a role that enables me to use some of the values found in art while working. Apart from my professional career, I am incredibly interested in public policy and disability. My university thesis was on Emergency Preparedness and Disabilities which overall analyzed the lack of equipment and personnel that cities have in regards to properly evacuating and sheltering people with disabilities during natural disasters. I have been in various groups in work, and I believe that inclusion is invaluable.
