Part-Time Fashion Design Lecturer with specialism in Sustainability. I have developed sustainable pathways within the Fashion Department, creating projects and initiatives to engage students in ethical and sustainable design practices. I oversee the final year portfolio unit, working with students on building their graduate portfolios. I am also involved in collection creation, working with students on design ideation, development and critique.

Co-founder and Creative Director of Swedish Sustainable brand, BITE.I was at the helm of the Creative/ Design within the brand, directing a small team and Atelier in London and Portugal. I created the brand creative language and directed and designed all collections between the brand's inception in 2016 until end of 2020.

I Supported students from 1st year through to MA/ Post-Graduate level with an emphasis on pattern cutting, 3D realisation and fitting/ product development. Bought in to direct design development and strategy for Joshua Millard’s debut collection for Paris Fashion Week. Starting with design development in sketch and spec format working from his research, commercialising, modernising and energising the collection. Range planning, Toiling, creating silhouettes on the stand, Fitting and developing patterns for samples across the multi-product luxury range.

Bought in to work alongside Susanne Deeken on Research proposals and Collections for two RTW clients. Conducted creative research to brief, working together to edit and focus the direction of the proposals, offering design/ vintage/ detail references through mood boards as well as unique fabric and colourway design and selection. Proposing creative but commercial collections which were presented as an extensive document to client.

Designing predominantly outerwear, tailoring and day-to-eveningwear dresses for the newly established E-commerce brand. I assisted in overseeing the development of multiple products from sketch through to pattern, toile, fitting and alterations from a technical perspective. Working with pattern cutters and sampling units, I developed the products from initial sketch through to delivery to production unit, directing silhouette and proportion, details and finishings accordingly.

Consultant senior designer to Nicola Formichetti and Alister Mackie for the relaunch of Diesel. I was responsible for translating Nicola and Alister’s vision through design and collection development; directing creative and research and leading the dresses segment within seasonal collections.

For 3 consecutive seasons I worked in collaboration with ASOS for a diffusion line of jersey thermal, underwear and casualwear. Designing a 20+ piece collection for the e-commerce retailer, I worked alongside the womenswear team in executing sampling of the collection as well as production for retail. I developed strong communication skills through managing the business and a small studio team as well as working with manufacturers, pattern cutters, sales agents and handling Press. The experience of building collections from start to finish has meant I have gained a thorough understanding of garment design and construction. I have experienced 5 years working with buyers and industry figures, listening to the customer to create and maintain a desirable, commercial product offering. Over 3 consecutive seasons, I was invited to collaborate with ASOS exclusively designing a range of printed jersey diffusion casualwear.
