For as long as I've had cognitive thought, art has been part of my life. Until I really started to dive into it, I thought it would just remain a little hobby that fades as I get older. Looking more into graphic design and what it means to be a designer made me realize I could make a real living doing what I love! I didn't start out on the path of a designer, though; until I got into college, I saw myself as a future best-selling author (which I still hope to do one day!) and was originally on-track to major in English. As soon as I was recommended OSUIT's graphic design degree and learned they offered hands-on curriculum, it was a no-brainer. I was going to go to OSUIT to be a graphic designer! After graduating, I gained experience working for the University of Tulsa as their Publications Designer. Though COVID hit the university hard and unfortunately cut my career there short, I am forever grateful for the skills I learned in my brief time there. I stuck to designing for learners as I moved on to KeyBridge Technologies, Inc. where I helped develop styles and 2D graphics for multiple online learning courses. Outside of work, I enjoy streaming on Twitch using self-made assets, fixing up my retro gaming setup, and catching up on the latest Twitter drama like its a real-time soap opera. I hope we get a chance to work together!
