truelove. is a music and events brand which I founded in 2017. At the core of the brand are the events of which I manage all areas, from initial concept and throughout. Since the brand's inception we have hosted regular events at Wire and Sheaf St. and hosted a stage for Inner City Electronic festival since it's inaugural year.My main responsibilities include:- Full creative direction of the brand.- Managing our social media platforms to consistently create engaging content for our target audience, whilst planning campaigns tailored to individual events.- Liaising with venue management, agents and artists in order to curate and organise events.- Writing a monthly online article featuring new music releases, current industry topics and interviews.- Curating a regular podcast series showcasing artists from the UK and beyond.- Managing ticket allocations and online ticketing platforms for all events.- Looking after all finances and accounts for the business including marketing budgets.

Working as the Events & Promotions Manager at Canal Mills, managing a variety of events covering music, arts, food & beverage.My responsibilities included:- The organisation and development of the venue's events alongside company directors.- Managing the venue's social media platforms, creating content tailored to individual events in order to drive campaigns and increase brand development.- Developing and managing the promotions team, which I grew to a number of 50+ staff whilst delegating roles and maintaining a solid relationship with the team. - The coordination of physical promotions and distribution for all events, across the city of Leeds and surrounding areas.- Managing online ticket platforms, physical ticket distribution and providing in depth sales reports to company directors.- Being present on site at all events in order to manage staff members and support artists, clients and customers.- Building and maintaining relationships with industry clientele.- Procuring external brands for involvement in events, suited to attendees of the venue.
