Part of the PennEngineering Rotational Development Program, which consisted of three, six-month positions.1st Rotation: Quality & Continuous Improvement in Waterford, MI June 2022 – December 2022• Specified, quoted, and purchased industrial parts washer to clean oil off of cold formed nuts.• Rewrote ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliant work instructions and procedure documents for audits.2nd Rotation: Process Innovation in Danboro, PA January 2023 – June 2023• Integrated new camera system into a prototype automated, in-line visual inspection machine for cold headed studs.• Designed a new part picking method for the prototype inspection machine to increase reliability.• Designed a new part conveyance system for in-line inspections that presents every part to the cameras at the rate of the machine (~400 ppm).• Performed initial testing and integration of AMR system for moving boxes of parts between locations.• Participated in team brainstorms and problem solving sessions for all active projects.3rd Rotation: Applications Engineering in Danboro, PA July 2023 – December 2023• Created new generic-level models and drawings in Creo for PennEngineering’s ATLAS® FM™ line of products that are fully adaptable for any part in the product family.• Monitored and responded to direct customer inquiries through a live chat service and through email.• Performed installation and testing of PennEngineering product on customer supplied materials.• Filled in required engineering information for quotations requested by potential customers.• Helped to design a lab management system for the Shelby Township, MI office and for their test lab.
