I am a hard working, enthusiastic high school student, who brings the same attitude to work. I pride myself in providing quality work, and put my best foot forward. I enjoy meeting new people, working with others, and staying busy.Through my internship with The La Fonda on the Plaza Hotel I have learned what it is like to work in a professional environment. Working at La Fonda has not only taught me how to work with my co-workers, but also how to assist guests. As a front desk associate, I have learned how to coordinate with guests, employees, other departments, and strangers over the phone. I have also learned to problem solve on the fly, as well as jump into other roles within the hotel as needed; assisting the sales department, the restaurant hostess desk or concierge desk for example. My daily role requires use of PC-based custom booking interface, and room keycard and parking pass applications. I enjoy meeting people from all over, and making sure they have the best stay possible.
