In this role I led design and development of 11 complex program management SaaS products for National Science Foundation, Navy, and NASA. This included data capture, analytics, and real-time collaborative scoring used to evaluate candidates for graduate research fellowships. During my tenure, ASEE was regularly selected over large consulting groups due to superior functionality, speed-to-delivery, stability and service. The primary tech stack included Ruby on Rails, LaTex, Lucene, and MySQL.

KaBOOM! is a non-profit organization that helps communities build playgrounds for children. I was focused on creating playground mapping software which could automatically identify “play deserts” (areas that lacked safe play areas for children). The system was built using Mapnik, C++, and JavaScript and we drew interest from the Office of the First Lady.
