Biomass Compositional Analysis: I was a Research Technician for the premier biomass compositional analysis group in the country. • This job in Compositional Analysis for the Biomass Synthesis and Characterization group allowed me to develop my ability to work in a team-based organization with constant deadlines. We had weekly meetings to distribute work evenly throughout the group. When someone is overloaded with work, I offered to assist in order to help my team members in my group.• Each experiment that I completed needed the highest precision and accuracy in order to provide important data for the needs of ethanol production.• I used Microsoft Excel in order to report information and give insights in helping to further Ethanol production.• We continually have multiple experiments running at once that require an ability to multitask and not make any mistakes. Experiments are run over several days and they need absolute precision and accuracy in order for completion.• I created a superior calculation spreadsheet to improve the calculation data for on of our group’s most important experiment.• I have shown extreme accuracy within many job assignments, including the most critical experiment. • At NREL, I worked with many analytical analysis instruments (HPLC, ASE 200/350, YSI, UV-Vis).
