Mr. Litz’s primary responsibilities include maintenance, design and development of enhancements to EM-Assist’s Learning Management System (ELMS) product offering. Mr. Litz also helps support client’s individual needs with regards to design, installation, and utilization of their unique implementation of the ELMS. Recent clients include Marine Corps Base Camp Lejuene and Minnesota National Guard. Mr. Litz has experience working through the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering, design, development through implementation and maintenance. System (LMS). Most recently, Mr. Litz acted as lead developer on a large customization of EM-Assist’s Learning Management System (ELMS) for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This project encompassed a thorough review of EPA’s nationwide training processes and designing and developing LMS customizations to support those processes. The project entailed conducting in-depth interviews with various training, designing wire frame screen prototypes and developing, testing and training on all customizations. Communication with a variety of clients was a key success factor , ensuring that customers at all level had adequate opportunity for input and were kept abreast of progress throughout.Mr. Litz designed and developed a large enhancement to the ELMS to support uploading and playing of SCORM conformant courseware. This enhancement included adding a set of pages to allow ELMS administrators to upload SCORM 1.2 and 2004 package files and configure the course player environment. It also entailed developing a SCORM conformant course “player” window to support interaction and tracking activities between the course and the ELMS.
