As senior software engineer at Interface.ai, I was tasked with creating and improving critical backend systems for the conversational AI assistant product our 100+ institutional clients rely on.Working primarily in Node.JS, I designed and completely overhauled our speech transcription systems for our phone product, evaluating the most effective ML speech model products for our use-case, integrating them into our production systems, and created ongoing improvement processes to implement custom model training using our proprietary data.I also architected and single-handedly developed multiple backend data processing systems to replace manual processes that were costing the company hundreds of man-hours a month. These systems leveraged LLM technologies that enabled actionable product insights with an accuracy that would have been impossible even a year ago.

As senior tech lead on Route's Discover and Engage teams, I was involved with Product starting from feature conceptualization to nail down stories and requirements that I translated into actionable engineering work for each part of the stack. Created the engineering timelines for a team of 10 backend, mobile and web engineers while managing cross-team dependencies, successfully delivering features ahead of schedule that exceeded adherence to SLAs.
