Profile bio

About Elliot Bell-Krasner, Mpp

I am a young(ish) political/policy professional with a good deal of energy and passion for the work that I do, and have been involved in political campaigns since the age of 14. For over a decade, I have worked in the nonprofit world, facilitating international political exchange programs designed to promote bilateral diplomacy between rising stars in politics and government, leadership development for high-school students, and educational programs about government and civics for Middle School and High School students. As a graduate of both The George Washington University (BA, 2008) and The American University (MPP, 2012), I feel lucky to have received the education that I did. However, I have a very personal connection to the inequities of the education system as they exist today. When I was was growing up, I went to public school in two school districts that bordered each other, but were significantly different in terms of the quality of education that was provided. My personal experiences, have made me very passionate about education policy, especially as it pertains to K-12 education in the public schools. I believe that every child has a right to equal access to a quality education, and I further believe that stronger communication is needed between local school districts, state governments and the federal government.

Listed skills include Policy Analysis, Politics, Community Outreach, Political Campaigns, and 42 others.
