Having made a connection with Wheelscape on a freelance project in 2010 (sketch rendering designs); I joined the team as a design intern, I then moved on to a full-time multi-disciplinary role covering aspects of Design, Presentation, Research and Marketing. This adaptive position played a part in the general development and promotion of Wheelscape. After approximately 6 months with Wheelscape I moved into a permanent role as Project Development Manager, taking responsibility for PQQ's and Tenders for every job. I managed to streamline and develop the project delivery process to provide more efficient and effective solutions to the needs of the wheeled-sports community.During my time at Wheelscape, a third build team was put together to take on the additional volume of work secured through tender, the first European park was built and a large proportion of the UK's most successful Skateparks were delivered. As a freelance designer I was commissioned to create rapid sketch concepts for use in consultation sessions. I was responsible for creating complex surface CAD models, as well as sectional drawings.
Given a 24 hour crash brief to create an initial concept for multi tool aimed at home hobbyists. All concepts were created using manual techniques (sketch render). These initial concepts were then presented to the representatives of Dremel Europe. I was given the 2009 Dremel Award for Innovation
