* Worked on Surgical Insights Platform, writing backend cloud infrastructure in Golang to interface with real-time ML systems providing computer-assisted analytics to surgeons in the operating room, boosting polyp detection rate for colonoscopies by 30%.* Led design and implementation of ingestion pipeline to traceably and efficiently store ML inference results from processed operation videos using Temporal. Also led design and implementation of Surgical Insights Analytics Service, to make ingested results available for filtering, aggregation and statistical operations using ElasticSearch. This enabled a successful pilot of these procedure insights features with Duke University, enabling a surgical department to use the platform.* Iterated and improved user experience for surgeons sharing surgical case videos. Implemented backend changes using Golang in our proprietary server framework and integrated WebSockets, RXJS, and Angular on frontend using Typescript. Collaborated closely with UX team to ensure alignment with user needs.* Designed distributed system using Golang, Cloud Workflows, GCS, Spanner and BigQuery to ingest, analyze and visualize Verily hardware manufacturing logs, enabling external manufacturing. Reduces time-to-ingestion from an hour to < 5 seconds, facilitatingreal-time debugging for engineers and contractors.

Investigated the 18S loop of eukaryotic ribosomes, and work in Python, MS SQL and Aqua Data Studio to generate and visualize mRNA and protein sequences.Analyzed the periodicity of mRNA codon windows, as well as slip sites within the mRNA transcriptome, in order to relate the Kozak consensus and the periodicity of mRNA bases to the relative translation rates of different hypothetical protein.
