My background includes a comprehensive repertoire of customer service interactions from several different positions within the retail environment. Most recently, I worked as a server at a restaurant called Tipsy Cow Burger Bar in the city of Redmond, WA. My responsibilities included handling food and drink orders, tending to the needs of the guests, and helping to cultivate an overall pleasant dining experience for each and every guest. Previously, I worked at the Bellingham (WA) International Airport as a parking lot cashier. In this position, I demonstrated the ability to process customer fees, assisted customers when transaction errors arose, assisted customers with any questions about the airport, and gave directional advice. In addition, I learned how to troubleshoot computing system errors when system outages occurred. From both these previous job experiences I gained a considerable amount of customer service skills, as I was often interacting with upset customers. As I was presented with opportunities to engage with distressed customers, I took them as a learning experience where I was able to practice and fine tune skills such as patience and compassion for their emotions. As a result, I feel truly equipped to provide a level of service for any job in a complete, professional and courteous manner.I am looking to expand my work experience beyond the restaurant industry, and advance my qualifications in a different and challenging work environment. I am a numbers driven person who is motivated by working with new businesses that can provide me both a competitive and well balanced lifestyle. I strive for a work atmosphere where I can establish sound fundamentals at, and interact with new people on an every day basis.
