We encouraged design proposals that fully embraced sustainable principles; understanding that, alongside the technologies of building, the establishment of a personal connection to place is of equal importance. -

We organised events across Oxfordshire to get people talking, listening and thinking about related subjects in order to build a self-support network, as firms took on the challenge of BIM adoption in practice. With an average attendance rate of over 40 delegates per event, we built a close-knit contact group of 250+ representatives from 50+ different firms and institutions. Oxford BIM Regions spawned many other groups, assisted firms and institutions in gathering and disseminating research, offered platforms for speakers and provided an exciting forum for discussion for all.
