As a development associate, I assist in the execution of The Associated's $31 million annual campaign and other projects that connect donors with the work that we do for Jewish Baltimore. I have overseen the staff campaign, which raises funds from employees of eight of our partner agencies, including Jewish Community Services, Jewish Community Center of Baltimore, Baltimore Jewish Council, Comprehensive Housing Assistance Inc., and Jewish Volunteer Connection. In FY 2017, staff raised more than $220,000 for the annual campaign. I've crafted itineraries, budgets, and other materials for donor missions, which are overseas trips to Israel and other locales for high-level donors who have the capacity to increase their financial commitment and involvement in the work we do. These trips connect people to the overseas impact Jewish Baltimore has through our annual campaign. I have managed the RFP process for two tour operators The Associated was looking to hire to run two of these missions, and the logistics for a Washington DC advocacy day.I have also managed the development for specific agencies and programs whose budgets are not entirely supported by the funds raised from the annual campaign. These include SHEMESH, an agency that provides academic support for children enrolled in local Jewish day schools, Goucher Hillel and UMBC Hillel, student organizations which promote and strengthen Jewish life on the campuses of Goucher College and University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).

As Director of Development, I oversaw all fundraising activities for the largest privately-owned and operated community center for seniors in Baltimore City. From FY 16 to FY 17, I increased fundraising totals by 20%, including exceeding the FY 17 annual campaign goal by 9%. I drafted fundraising materials, wrote grants, and created and tracked fundraising analytics, and also worked with staff, lay leaders, and other stakeholders to advance the center's fundraising efforts. Additionally, I managed special projects as assigned, including transitioning the Center to a new database management system, and assisted the Executive Director in formulating business development strategies to ensure the Myerberg remains a viable community organization for Baltimore's seniors.

As a paralegal, I was responsible for managing more than 60 cases in the firm's personal injury practice. My specific responsibilities included drafting settlement letters, lawsuits, client correspondence, and other legal documents. I became extremely knowledgeable of Maryland personal injury law as it pertained to automobile accidents, as I was also responsible for providing regular updates to clients inquiring about the status of their cases, and explaining any relevant legal issues. Additionally, I was able to leverage my experience as the Deputy Finance Director to plan the annual fundraiser for one of the name partners who is a Maryland State Senator and Chairman of the Judicial Proceedings Committee. This fundraiser raised more than $120,000.

Served as a Deputy Finance Director on one of the state's most hotly-contest democratic primaries in the 2014 Midterm election. I was part of a three person team that raised more than $1.1 million for statewide political campaign for Maryland Attorney General. In this role, I planned fundraisers, oversaw donor research and prospecting, and staffed events and high-level meetings. I managed a portfolio of 10-15 select donors and community stakeholders in ensuring fundraising goals are met, and crafted talking points for the candidate and select donor groups.

Responsible for the communications and marketing, planning institute's events, as well as serving as a teaching assistant to the institute's director, Dr. Yoram Peri.

Assisted in the handling of several fundraising accounts, including researching donors and making solicitation phone calls. Clients included U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Congressman Gregory Meeks, U.S. Senate candidate Richard Carmona, and Tom Barrett, the gubernatorial challenger to Governor Scott Walker in the 2012 Wisconsin recall election.
