Through taught courses, consultancy, and other initiatives, I help lecturers promote an inclusive approach to teaching, particularly for students who are disabled and/or neurodivergent.This includes:- Co-founding a neurodiversity network for staff and students- Co-creating a MOOC on Diversity and Inclusion in Education- Creating and convening a.

In this role, I advise and lecture on academic practice, including on the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP).My specialist areas are inclusive practice (with a particular focus on disability, mental health, and neurodivergence), and technology-enhanced learning.

This role involved coordinating a Digital Professionalism project, which spanned all undergraduate subjects within the college of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Life Sciences (MVLS). Based on needs identified from a survey, the main project aim was to work with student partners to create teaching resources (online and face-to-face) to support students'.

In this role, I provided consultancy and expertise on using learning technology within Higher Education, with a specialist focus on Learning Design.

In this role, I interviewed academic staff about their approaches to teaching and worked with a videographer to create "talking heads" videos of these interviews

I developed and delivered IT courses for university students and staff

My PhD thesis explored the effects of a music listening intervention on anxiety, specifically an analogue situation designed to model an anxiety disorder. This included a synthesis of existing research on music psychology (how music affects our emotions and bodies), clinical psychology (how anxiety works, and what treatments are effective), and existing.

The Peer Proofreading programme allows non-native English speakers to submit assignments for courses at the University of Edinburgh for proofreading prior to submission. The assignment is returned to them with comments, and often the student and the proofreader will meet to discuss any queries that the student may have. I worked as a proofreader for this.

In this role, I performed troubleshooting for computer problems for university staff and students, both in person and remotely (via email and phone). Common issues included anti-virus, configuring email clients, and internet and VPN access, and administering authentication to the university system.

This was a two hour introductory class in music psychology. The Kickstart programme is for students who will soon be leaving school, and gives them an opportunity to attend classes in a variety of subjects at university over a few days.
