The main focus for this role was to assist with data movement from the Oracle environment into SAP. Worked closely with managers to gather and document business requirements for new system implementation and testing. Within Oracle 10g, SQL queries were used to pull data while scripting was used to update inventory and costing within the system. Data was then pulled on a monthly basis from Oracle. This data was then imported into the Master Payroll and Costing databases for querying and reporting. The Master Payroll and Costing databases were created within MS Access 2010 and also Visual Studio 2010 was used for form creation and pre-build event creation. MS Excel 2010 was used for further weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on production and pricing. The data within the Excel reports were maintained and updated using a connection to the existing Access database. The primary job was to manage multiple address rentals from various sources and condense them into one manageable database for catalog mail louts. This consisted of managing an average of 3-4 projects with 2-5 million pieces of address data each. Pulling from each source via .CSV files, manipulating the data needed for validation (using a custom program called 360i), then purging any bad or duplicate data from the finished database using Fox Pro 9.0. Data was then merged within one single database (MS Access) per project. The data aggregation was done primarily with SQL querying, combining various tables within Access for a strong but easily manageable data source.Applications used: Windows Server 2008 r2, MS Access, MS Excel, 360i, Fox Pro 9.0, MS SharePoint

The primary focus for this position was to build a unified database for Cost-Benefit Analysis. I was tasked with the exportation of raw customer service data from JD Edwards ERP using a combination of scripting methods and SQL querying for use within the Quality Assurance database. The Quality Assurance database was built using MS Access and Visual Studio 2008 for form/build event creation. By sing PL/SQL for UI form creation I granted the end-user (upper management) easy access to needed data, but this also protects the underlying queries or data from corruption. Within the database, data was consolidated and then exported into MS Excel worksheets for reporting purposes. Data and charts within the Excel worksheets/reports bounced off of the Quality assurance database via easily manageable pivot tables.Applications used: J.D.
