The Master Payroll and Costing databases were created within MS Access 2010 and also Visual Studio 2010 was used for form creation and pre-build event creation. MS Excel 2010 was used for further weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on production and pricing. The data within the Excel reports were maintained and updated using a connection to the existing Access database. Data was then merged within one single database (MS Access) per project. The Quality Assurance database was built using MS Access and Visual Studio 2008 for form/build event creation. By sing PL/SQL for UI form creation I granted the end-user (upper management) easy access to needed data, but this also protects the underlying queries or data from corruption. Within the database, data was consolidated and then exported into MS Excel worksheets for reporting purposes. Data and charts within the Excel worksheets/reports bounced off of the Quality assurance database via easily manageable pivot tables.Applications used: J.D.
